Raggamuffin 09 features nine bands and over ten hours of the world’s best reggae artists, with a healthy dose of funk, dub, hip hop and soul. This will be Eddy Grant and Stephen Marley’s first ever visit to Aotearoa!

“We’re stoked that Raggamuffin is coming back to Rotorua. The 2008 inaugural festival attracted over 30,000 people from throughout the country and, given the big names on the bill, we anticipate fans will be eager to get in early and secure tickets for the 2009 event. It’s great that Rotorua will play host to two of Bob Marley’s sons, Ziggy and Stephen, over the weekend that celebrates the King of Reggae’s birthday. Next year’s February 7 Raggamuffin festival will be even better than the 2008 show and we’re substantially increasing the number of stalls and food and beverage outlets.” - Peter McLeod, General Manager, Events & Venues Rotorua
