The Rock and AJ Hackett are pleased to announce that Mike Heard has set a new world record today off The Auckland Harbour Bridge, for the most bungy jumps in one day.

This was officially recognized in accordance with the guidelines set by The Guinness Book of World Records.

Heard smashed the record by making 103 jumps. Previously the record was set by South African Bill Boshoff who performed 101 bungy jumps in 14 hours and 23 minutes at Bloukrans River Bridge, South Africa, on May 10 2002.

This new World Record set today means a New Zealander is finally back into the record books and reclaims the position for the most bungy attempts in one day.
