New grassroots rugby league competition, in which the best provincial players go to battle for the pride of their
regions. A round-robin contest that will conclude at the grand final on September 28. Featuring: Taranaki v Waikato at
Yarrow Stadium.

The seasons symbolise the stages in the life of man, in this case, a young Korean monk who shares a floating monastery
with his master. Under the watchful eyes of the old monk, the young man experiences the loss of innocence when play
turns to cruelty; the awakening of love when a woman enters their closed world; the murderous power of jealousy and
obsession; the price of redemption and the enlightenment of experience.

FERRY TALES (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) - Tuesday September 9 at 8.30 PM
A documentary about a secret world that exists in the powder room of the Staten Island Ferry. From suburban mums to
socialites, white-collar and blue-collar workers, these women are part of each others lives for 30 minutes of every day,
as they gather around mirrors to put on their makeup – and talk. Sassy and honest, they dish on everything from sex
scandals to stilettos, family problems to September 11th, leaving stereotypes at the door and surprising viewers with
their straight-shooting wisdom.
HYUNDAI CODE – Thursday September 11 at 8.30 PM
Season Finale! The award-winning sports entertainment show that nets the best guests wraps up another year on air with a
recap of all the ‘best bits’. Crack the code one final time with Tawera Nikau, Jenny-May Coffin, Wairangi Koopu, Glen
Osborne and Matua Parkinson. Mean, Maori, Mean!
HOMAI TE PAKIPAKI – Friday September 12 at 8.30 PM
Maori Television’s live karaoke show reaches the business end of the competition – the first of the semi-finals - to see
who will go on to take the title and $10,000. Ten will sing but only five will go on to grand final on September 26, to
be held at Auckland’s Beaumont Centre. Hosted by Te Hamua Nikora and Ben Baker.
