The winter chill didn't stop the audience from heading down to BATS last week to catch Thomas Sainsbury's double bill The Mall and LUV which received rave reviews.

We've cranked up the heat in the theatre for this week with two world premieres of New Zealand Theatre. Black Tuesday opening tomorrow on Tuesday (now is that some spooky co-incidence or genius programming ?) and Diane Spodarek's Winter opening on Thursday.

Vote for us for in the Captial Times Best of Wellington 2008 [http://www.captimes.co.nz/survey.aspx] readers' poll for Best Theatre and for The Pit Bar as we coninue to be this country's most accessible professional theatre for both audience and practioners by supporting and presenting new New Zealand work. (I just love cut and paste!)

Love BATSxx
