New Look For Www.Runwayreporter.Co.Nz

Media Release, 14 July 2008

New Look For Www.Runwayreporter.Co.Nz

New Zealand fashion website www.runwayreporter.co.nz has had a makeover. The online home of Fashion Quarterly magazine has a bold new look, new content and improved browsing capability.

“We‘ve made the site even more relevant for our online audience,” says Fiona Hawtin, editor of Fashion Quarterly magazine and www.runwayreporter.co.nz

“There’s more beauty content, a preview of the current issue of Fashion Quarterly and a new team blog to give readers an insight into what goes on behind the scenes at a fashion magazine.”

“We’re introducing readers to a fortnightly Stylist Says column by the oh-so fashionable Suzanne Winterflood to help them make sense of some of fashion’s trickier trends.”

“We are also adding comments sections to the site to give our online readers a voice.”

The site will continue to deliver comprehensive coverage of the local and international fashion industry, with current lookbooks from New Zealand’s best designers helping readers plan their wardrobes, photographs from the hottest parties around the country, the witty and acerbic Shag Pile Rug column and breaking fashion news that matters.

“The new platform allows us to update the site more frequently, creating more reasons for fashion lovers to visit every day,” says Hawtin. Launched in March 2006, www.runwayreporter.co.nz has 22,000 monthly unique browsers viewing more than one million pages on the site.1 The average session duration during June was 18 minutes, the longest for any site in the lifestyle category.

There are now more than 5,000 people signed up to receive two weekly email newsletters from www.runwayreporter.co.nz
