Scrabble And Conversation At Bats

Scrabble And Conversation At Bats

It's a 3 course meal at BATS with the Young and Hungry team serving up a feast of delicious, bite sized and appetizing theatre.

Catch all 3 shows or spread it out over the week but whatever you do leave your laptop at home on Tuesday night if you are heading towards BATS cos Tuesday night is now Scrabble night at the Pit Bar - Old skool face to face styles. The only refreshing you'll be doing here is with a drink. Also at the Pit Bar Morgan Haigh will be in with an acoustic set on Thursday and Kitten Tank will be kicking it up an electronic notch on Friday.

Kicking off next Monday night will be the first in a series of Monthly Converstions with theatre artists and practioners. On the Hot seat will be Jo Randerson.

CONVERSATION

Looking for Inspiration ?

Want to know what makes our leading theatre artists and practioners tick ?

Starting off next Monday at 7.00pm is the first in a series of Conversations.

What is our art and what does it mean to us ?

The Pit Bar will open to quench your thirst whilst you listen, converse and question with the featured artist in the Theatre - the perfect way to spend a Monday night (it's a bad TV night anyway!)

First in the series is Jo Randerson, the amazing writer, performer, all round top lady, and Artistic Director of Barbarian Productions.

There is no entry free but a koha would be appreciated towards covering costs.

Come and join the Conversation at BATS Theatre. Monday 30 June. 7.00pm

MENTAL BREAK

Can you guess words with missing letters?

It's a new twist on the traditonal hangman game. and you don't actually have to be a movie buff [http://www.eastoftheweb.com/cgi-bin/go_daily_game.pl?game_id=Storyman&id=3] to play this one !

This is one is so short yet so sweet. A bitter sweet ironic animation flick. Check it out [http://www.bozzetto.com/neuro.htm] !
