We've farewelled Comedy Festival after some belly aching laughs, now for stomach churning thriller and beautiful music!
Hold onto the edge of your seat with Gavin McGibbon's latest play Handy Man [http://www.bats.co.nz/plays/08/handy-man.html] opening Tuesday night at 6.30pm. When the toilet of their bach floods, near-divorcees Richard and Clare need a plumber in the middle of nowhere. Dom turns out to be more than happy to oblige, so happy, in fact, that he won't leave… A psychological thriller about isolation, love and a leaky toilet.
The Last 5 Years [http://www.bats.co.nz/plays/08/the-last-5-years.html] by James Robert Brown opens Thursday night at 8.30pm. With live musicians, watch this musical reveal a relationship from start to finish, from finish to start. This captivating show portrays modern romance in a compelling manner, both funny and poignant.
