Limelight, a new nationwide online business and community directory service that provides direct benefits for Kiwi charities, is on a six-week tour around the country raising money for Variety the Children’s Charity and the Child Cancer Foundation.
The Charity trip, supported by Alison Mau and Stacey Jones, will put over 20 towns in the limelight, celebrating ‘local legends’ and involving community celebrities and other local charities.
Hogging the limelight on the tour will be its star attraction - a motorised lime green couch, which will be driven around the country, starting in Kaitaia on May 15th and going as far South as Bluff before finishing back in Auckland on June 19th.
In each town they stop in a person from that community will be put in the ‘limelight’ and recognised for their contribution to the local area. They will be crowned a ‘local legend’ and at the end of the Charity tour will be flown to Auckland with all the other legends for a celebratory dinner.
Join in the fun with some of New Zealand’s favourite personalities and help raise funds for two New Zealand children’s charities.
Visit www.limelight.co.nz to find out when the tour is coming to your town and you can have your moment in the limelight.
