Catch Greg Johnson free at Mission Bay
Greg Johnson is making select appearances during a visit home from his current base of Los Angeles – and Music in Parks is pleased to have him performing free at Mission Bay’s Selwyn Reserve on Saturday, 1 March (4pm to 7pm) for Holden Astra Summer Sounds.
Auckland’s Rangitoto Island will create a stunning backdrop for Greg’s blend of wry wit, musical prowess and beautiful pop.
Anna Coddington, who began her career with indie band Duchess and spent much of 2005 and 2006 on tour with Anika Moa and Bic Runga as a backing singer, will front her own band before Greg’s performance.
Grab a picnic and come and check out some of New Zealand’s best music.
Auckland City Council’s Music in Parks 2008 is proudly sponsored by Holden Astra and Drake International, and supported by New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT), The Lion Foundation, Radioworks (Solid Gold, The Breeze, More FM, Radio Live and Kiwi FM), 95bFM, Ecover and NZ Rockshops.
