Anika Moa to support Jools Holland
KIWI songbird Anika Moa has been signed to support British superstar musician JOOLS HOLLAND when he performs in Auckland next month.
Jools and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra featuring Ruby Turner -- and NOW ANIKA MOA -- promises an outstanding night of entertainment on March 18 at the Aotea Centre. Bookings: Ticketek. www.ticketek.co.nz
After her memorable support slot for Ryan Adams and her sold out national tour, Anika is honoured to be supporting Jools -- an artist who has performed for presidents, royalty and millions the world over.
Anika has had huge success with her new Platinum selling album 'In Swings The Tide', which was released in October.
Her brilliant first single 'Dreams In My Head' (about unrequited love) quickly became the most played song on NZ radio and enjoyed that honour for four weeks. It still remains in the top 10.
Her new single 'My Old Man' was written for her father before he sadly passed away at the end of last year. She has recently released a video she shot in Amsterdam as a tribute to her Dad.
