Bon Jovi On January 27 Set To Sellout And Will Break South Island Concert Attendance Record
With CLOSE TO 30,000 people already set to be in the AMI Stadium, Christchurch on Sunday January 27, the BON JOVI Concert which is their only New Zealand appearance has already broken all known outdoor paid concert records. With most sections sold out and only a few hundred seats left on sale the ‘Lost Highway Tour’ Concert is set to sell out.
Capital C: Concerts the promoter company behind all the big concerts this summer (Elton John and Rock2Wgtn) specifically brought Bon Jovi to the Southern Capital Christchurch as it considered the North Island had been over played with Police, Big Day Out and a number of secondary concerts while at the same time the South Island had been seriously neglected.
Phil Sprey, CEO of Capital C: Concerts said, “As one of the only major NZ based and owned promoters we are better in tune with what is happening in this country and clearly identified Christchurch as a great place to be in January”, he went onto say, “the Garden City public and a considerable number of others VVISITO to the city from the other main centres have proved our expectations to such an extent that the V-Base the company who manage the AMI Stadium have asked us to deliver a major international concert in the same week annually --- and we intend to do just this!”
The remaining tickets to Bon Jovi are still on sale via Ticketek nationwide and on www.ticketek.com
