Little River Band Perform Waiheke This Weekend - Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th December 2007

Hugely popular Australian rockers, Little River Band, arrive in the New Zealand tomorrow for two sunset concerts on Waiheke Island.

Ridgeview Estate Vineyard is holding the two concerts this weekend in their stunning new vineyard amphitheatre on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th December 2007.

A first for New Zealand, the band will perform beneath an Orbit Stage Hood brought in from England especially for these events by Town & Country Staging. The hoods are unique in New Zealand and are specially designed to enhance band experiences.

Orbit hoods offer a 9 tonne load bearing roof suited to backline lighting and sound requirements required by international artists.

The Little River Band events have all the ingredients to provide big production quality with the comfort and tranquillity of Waiheke vineyard. Performances will finish by 9:00 pm giving concert goers ample time to catch the Fullers ferry back to Auckland city.

Tickets are available from Ticketek, Fullers Auckland & Matiatia and Ridgeview Estate www.ridgeviewestate.co.nz . Tickets cost $99 for general admission and $175 for reserved seating.

Ridgeview Estate vineyard is situated between Onetangi and Rocky Bay, 500ft above sea level, on the edge of Whakanewha Regional Park, on Waiheke Island. The Little River Band concerts will launch the new Ridgeview Estate Vineyard restaurant and natural amphitheatre which opened this month.
