The final New
Zealand Film Archive exhibition for the year is Ronnie van
Hout's Merry Christmas 1981. Shot on colour Super 8 the film
features van Hout and friends celebrating Christmas with an
elaborate feast and plenty of good wishes.
Ronnie van
Hout attended the School of Fine Arts at Canterbury
University between 1980 and 1982, where he majored in film.
In 1999 in received a Masters of Fine Arts from RMIT
University, Melbourne and has since gone to achieve
international recognition for his art practise.
At
this point we'd like to thank all the artists, supporters
and friends who have taken part in the gallery programme
this year.
