Promoter Phil Sprey has again unleashed another suprise announcement following hard on the heals of the news that the Easter double headed ROCK2WGTN festival would see legendary band KISS return to New Zealand after many years and that Richard Taylor’s WETA Studios were providing their magical touches to the huge event.

Say Sprey, ``We promised Wellington and New Zealand a massive festival to rival any in the world and we haven’t finished yet.’’ ``Having OZZY join us for his very first NZ Concert and headlining or final night at the Westpac Stadium will put a crown on top of what will be a ‘concert phenomenon’. He added ‘ we set out to make this an experience that will entertain Kiwis from in their teens right through to the 50 plus age group,’’ `` if anyone misses this weekend in the Capital they will miss a piece of music history’’. Other bands and artists including local talent are still going to be announced and the effects and party plans for the city are all still to be made public.
