NZ Musicians To Open For Bryan Ferry

Danny McCrum & Ben Jurisich to open for Bryan Ferry & Joan Armatrading

It's just been confirmed that Danny McCrum & Ben Jurisich will be opening for Bryan Ferry & Joan Armatrading at the Logan Campbell Centre on December 3rd & 4th.

Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Danny McCrum has been writing and performing since he was twelve years old. During his teenage years he spent time in recording studios and performed all over New Zealand and in his adulthood has become a highly regarded professional musician.  The Danny McCrum Band have developed a unique sound and a reputation for their highly skilled and memorable music. They have topped competitions and worked with many artists including Jimmy Barnes, Tommy Emmanuel, Norah Jones, John Mayer, Katie Melua and more.

Ben Jurisich and Danny McCrum met at school in Bucklands Beach, Auckland when they were six and have been friends ever since.  They started playing guitar together when they were eleven.  Ben went on to perform with a wide range of acts including Pearl Runga, Debbie Harwood, The WBC and Amber Clare and officially joined the Danny McCrum Band in March this year.

On the 10th of November the band released their new album ‘Awake & Restless’.  The new album showcases the bands skills as songwriters and musicians.  It was produced by award winning producer Peter van Gent who has worked with Hayley Westenra, The Topp Twins, Ardijah, Michael Barrymore, Tommy Emmanuel, Norah Jones, Little River Band, Don McClean and more.  The album has been released through Elite Imports and is available at leading music stores nationwide.
