Lotto Second Division Wins of $23,833 For Magnificent Eleven
New Zealanders will get an extra hour of sunshine after daylight saving began early this weekend and for 11 Lotto players, this weekend has yielded an extra $23,833 on Lotto Second Division, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
"Daylight saving marks the start of the warm season and for our Second Division winners they can look forward to summer with some extra cash for a trip to the beach or day's fishing on their very own boat," says Mr McLeay.
The winning tickets were purchased in Auckland (3), Tauranga (2), Napier, Waipawa, Christchurch, Temuka, Timaru and Dunedin.
In addition to winning Lotto Second Division, one lucky player in who bought their ticket at Take Note Temuka in Temuka also won a Powerball Second Division prize of $34,930, taking their total winnings to $58,763.
It was also a good week for Timaru New World who not only sold a winning Second Division ticket but also the Winning Wheel ticket. The lucky Winning Wheel winner will have a chance to spin the wheel live on television and could win a top prize of $1 million.
