Tweeks on tour again

The Tweeks are saving for Bulgaria.

In an era of hyper-inflated house prices The Tweeks happened upon a secret: an 11 room Bulgarian house could be purchased for NZ$13,000. It's simple really: "After extensive research into overseas markets and advice from the industry, we've concluded that Bulgaria is the right place for us" says Stu Harwood, drummer. "We've already printed out the forms for the NZ on Air Outward Sound Grant... do they fund houses?"

October sees The Tweeks tour New Zealand yet again in an effort to raise enough money to buy a house in Bulgaria. The band intend on setting up a studio and basing themselves there in 2008. You can support the fundraiser at these dates:

Queenstown, Dux De lux, w/ The Situations, Oct 5thWellington, Mighty Mighty, w/ Libra Accord, Oct 12th
Auckland, The Masonic, w/ The Twitch & The Don't Touch Me There's, Oct 13th

The Tweeks also cordially invite bookings for 2008 recording sessions in their as yet to be purchased/built/named Bulgarian studio to "get away from it all".
