Lucky Thirteen Win $19,954 on Lotto Second Division

Thirteen might be unlucky for some, but for 13 Lotto Second Division winners who each won $19,954 this weekend, it proved to be very lucky indeed, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

"As the school holidays begin what a great way to celebrate with almost $20,000 to spend on taking the kids away for a break in the sun or paying off some of the mortgage," says Mr McLeay.

The winning tickets were purchased in Mangawhai Heads, Albany, Birkenhead, Auckland, Mangere East, Manukau, Patumahoe, Huntly, Te Kuiti, Papamoa, Lower Hutt, Wellington and Milton.

In addition to winning Lotto Second Division, one lucky player in who bought their ticket at Papamoa Four Square in Papamoa also won a Powerball Second Division prize of $32,932, taking their total winnings to $52,886.

The winning Lotto Second Division tickets were purchased at the following stores:

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of these winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries' outlet," Mr McLeay says.
