Everyone deserves to be a Plunket baby

'Everyone deserves to be a Plunket baby' is the theme for Plunket's Annual Appeal week (13th 21st October 2007) to celebrate the support Plunket provides across generations of New Zealanders.

Plunket's Annual Appeal is an opportunity for everyone to contribute to helping children and families in their community. All money raised from street collections, door-to-door collections and local fundraising events will be used for Plunket services, including Plunket Family Centres, Car Seat Rental Schemes, Parent groups, Parenting education, Toy Libraries and PlunketLine a free telephone advice service for parents (0800 933 922, 7am to midnight, 7 days a week).

Plunket has been part of New Zealand communities for over 100 years and it relies on the many generations of Plunket babies out there who are keen to give their time and donations to help current and future generations. This year's Annual Appeal has attracted the support of a range of celebrities including Carol Hirschfeld, Robyn Malcolm and Taika Waititi to name a few.

Please add Plunket's Annual Appeal to your diary for 13th 21st October 2007.

Donations can be made at any local ANZ branch or, after 1 October, you can make an instant $20 donation by calling 0900 555 20; instant $3 donations by txting "plunket" to 5500; or visit Plunket's website www.plunket.org.nz.
