The Chills on Tour

The Chills on Tour

By now you should have heard about the high energy line up that is The Chills in 2007.

If not, then you are in for a real treat… The Chills Play:

Methven Fri 31 August The Blue Pub
Christchurch Sat 1 September The Dux De Lux
Wanaka Sat 15 September Lake Wanaka Centre (Wanakafest)

Playing old and new favourites from the catalogue and introducing some new material as well, audiences have been left wanting more during live shows this year.

Martin comments:
“Our recent gigs have been exciting, seeing a mixture of both young and old fans, enjoying the energy of one of my favourite ever Chills line ups.
We look forward to these next few dates performing in the South. Fans from elsewhere should contact us via our myspace page (www.myspace.com/thechillsnz) and we will do our best to play in the areas most requested”

And in other Chilly News:
Work continues towards the new album, and fans are buzzing about this.

The Chills myspage page is continually gaining new and old friends and features video and audio rarities from the band. Currently featured are live audio performances of Night of Chill Blue and Part Past, Part Fiction.

There are now over 35 video clips of The Chills on Youtube with more coming soon. Some interesting stuff there includes old TV interviews and live versions of Night of Chills Blue and The Other, both recorded earlier this year in Queenstown, NZ.

The official website www.softbomb.com is undergoing a revamp but still provides another ongoing link to Martin and the Chills. More on that soon.

The Chills are:
Martin Phillipps (Guitar/Vocals)
Erica Stitchbury (Keyboards/Violin/Vocals)
James Dickson (Bass/Vocals)
Todd Knudson (Drums)
