Ridiculously Good

My, my, what a ridiculously good line up we have! Some of Welly's best and newest actors, directors, and actors are at our place this week.

Kicking off on Tuesday (tomorrow), we have The Venetian Bride, an exquisite romance based on a Maurice Shadbolt story.
Opening on Thursday, PIG HUNT strides onto the scene for anyone who fancies the scent of bush in their nostrils.

Both of these shows end on the 1st of September, and trust me, you don't want to miss 'em!

Maintenance week has left BATS looking like a spring chicken! So come on down and check it out.

PIG HUNT

Season: Thursday 23 August – Saturday 1 September (no show Sun/Mon)
Time: 8.30pm
Tickets: $18 full / $12 concession & groups 8+

There's more to life than hunting -yeah right!

Wainui born and bred , Rob and James love nothing more than getting together to tell their hunting stories over a few beers. Pig hunting in the local bush with their dogs is like a religion.

PIG HUNT is a new play written by Brian Hotter who grew up in Wainuiomata around a lot of staunch hunters. The play is directed by Kerryn Palmer (who directed the exciting Stab production "Sniper" in 2005). It has Wellington actors Jason Whyte as Rob, Jamie MaCaskill as James and Rapai Te Hau as Donna. A top design team of Brian King, Marcus McShane and Kane Parsons promise a visceral experience to anyone who fancies the scent of bush in their nostrils.
