TEAM SPIRIT - Tuesday August 14 at 8.30 PM: Chronicles the hockey careers of Jordin and Terence Tootoo and their quest to be the first Inuk to play in the National Hockey League. It's a remarkable story played out in front of a proud nation, starting out as a simple dream and becoming a tale of heartbreak and heroism.

THUNDER IN GUYANA - Tuesday August 21 at 8.30 PM: Remarkable story of Chicago-born Janet Rosenberg Jagan who was elected president of Guyana in 1997 - the first American-born woman to lead a nation. In 1943, Jagan married Guyanese activist Cheddi Jagan and returned with him to Guyana to start a socialist revolution.

THE NATURE OF THINGS: CHANGING GROUND - Tuesday August 28 at 8.30 PM: A group of First Nations people from Canada's west coast make an extraordinary journey to a remote corner of Papua New Guinea. They were invited by the Maisin, a tribe of about 2,000 people, living as their ancestors did at the edge of a rainforest.

THE NATURE OF THINGS: YEARS FROM HERE - Tuesday September 3 at 8.30 PM: The Maisin of Papua New Guinea travel to the Fraser Valley in British Columbia and see the Stolo, a people who have survived great losses and emerged with a wisdom and vision they are now sharing with indigenous communities world wide.

SAZ - Tuesday September 4 at 8.30 PM: When rap and the intifada get caught in a hand that holds a mike, songs that yearn to be heard beyond the ghetto walls of Israel emerge. The rage, the poetry, the girls, the confusion, the temptations of global media and the idealism: they are all here in this story of a year in the life of budding Palestinian hip hop star Samekh Zakhut (aka Saz).

WHEN LOVE IS BLIND - Tuesday September 11 at 8.30 PM: Blind people fall love but is it love at first sight? This documentary follows three individuals who are looking for love. It is an open window into the world of blind culture that candidly illustrates the personal and emotional challenges for blind people seeking relationships.
