Rachel Hunter onboard with Air New Zealand Fashion Week

Kiwi supermodel and fashion enthusiast Rachel Hunter is lending her support to Air New Zealand Fashion Week.

"We're delighted to confirm that we will be working with Rachel for this year's event. She's one of New Zealand's most glamorous personalities and her genuine love of New Zealand and its creative industries makes her the perfect match for working with us," says General Manager Marketing Steve Bayliss.

There will be a variety of activities Rachel Hunter will be taking part in during the action packed Air New Zealand Fashion Week.

Rachel will be the star VIP guest on the 30,000ft catwalk flight from Sydney to Auckland on September 16. She also will be the presenter of the New Zealand Fashion Channel, which showcases highlights of all the 2007 designers post Air New Zealand Fashion Week, on the Air New Zealand in-flight entertainment system.

Air New Zealand customers and travel industry partners also will be rub shoulders with Rachel when she hosts at the airline's lounge at Air New Zealand Fashion Week.

"I am excited about the opportunity to be part of an event that gives Kiwi designers the chance to display their talents to international buyers and media. New Zealand fashion is some of the most dynamic and progressive in the world. Our designers have lots of inspirational and creative ideas that really set them apart. I can't wait to soak up the atmosphere of such a great event that helps highly talented Kiwis make their mark on the world stage," said Rachel from her home in Los Angeles.
