A two man show of self portrait, autobiography, family, friends and the Island Bay landscape.
John paints universal themes intertwined with mythical figures from the world of Neptune. His carved driftwood sculpture extends these themes. He retains elements of his childhood vision in his fascination with the natural and the supernatural.
Des is a self- taught photographer. Moving from pinhole to digital and everything in between; Des is devoted to old school black and white, pinhole and salt prints. Since buying his beloved Lomo LCA camera he is on a steady downhill slide from darkroom to digital discovery.
