$10,000 Cash Up for Grabs at Skycity Cinemas

In SKYCITY Cinema’s Hot Seat promotion, see any movie before August 22, text the ‘unique code’ found on your SKYCITY Cinemas ticket to 5646 and be in to win $10,000.

Customers who text the special Hot Seat code could win one of 10 daily prizes from the Candy Bar. Moviegoers who watch three movies at SKYCITY Cinemas during the promotion and text three correct unique Hot Seat codes, go into the major prize draw to grab $10,000 cash inside SKYCITY Cinema’s cash capsule.

The SKYCITY Hot Seat promotion is using a new mobile technology known as POCKETvouchers for distributing its Candy Bar daily prizes. POCKETvouchers are uniquely coded vouchers sent to mobile phones as text messages, which are validated in “real time” through existing EFTPOS terminals. Each day winners are drawn from the previous day’s entrants into the Hot Seat promotion, and these winners will receive a POCKETvoucher straight to their mobile that they can redeem at participating SKYCITY Cinemas.

SKYCITY Cinema’s Film Squad members who see three movies during the Hot Seat promotion get a free bonus movie ticket.

It's free to join SKYCITY Cinema’s Film Squad and members receive regular email newsletters packed with exclusive offers and movie news. Film Squad membership provides fortnightly offers that change regularly. As an example offers may be a ticket deal, a Candy Bar offer or Time Out tokens. Invites to ‘members only’ preview screenings and exclusive competitions are also up for grabs.
