Fans of historical fiction should mark Monday 16 July on their calendars if they fancy a trip through Barbara Ewing's nineteenth-century Bloomsbury.
The New Zealand-born actress and author will be in Wellington to promote her new book, The Mesmerist, in which actress Cordelia Preston sets herself up as a phreno-mesmerist, advising couples on their compatability and enlightening women on 'The Gentle Intricacies of the Wedding Night'.
Join the entertaining and lively Barbara Ewing at this New Zealand Book Council event.
