THE SHO SERIES
Fluke
Opening night 5.30 -
7.30pm Tuesday 3 July, then daily 11am - 6pm.
Young photographer/designer, Fluke, has recently moved to Wellington, and has chosen The SHO Series for his first solo exhibition in the capital.
His current work is inspired by themes of architecture, music, and emotional darkness, and displays concepts of both lineal strength and flowing beauty. His NightSho series captures a lyrical sense of free expression, and demonstrates an emerging maturity of both light and form.
Fluke describes his approach generally as based on a strong screen print aesthetic, with both flat colour and monotone silhouette graphics. He has worked in Auckland for a number of years as a poster/stencil artist.
