Dance through the decades this school holidays

News release

Dance through the decades this school holidays

Lucky kids from all over New Zealand will be given the opportunity to dance like the stars this school holidays.

To entertain school children during their break, Westfield has lined up some spectacular free dance shows at selected shopping centres.

New Zealand dance entertainers Soul of Siren are performing a ‘Decade of Dance’ at nine Westfield centres nation-wide during the two week break. Each showcases a different era in dance history, from the 1950s to 2000 and beyond.

And everyone can join in. Each show has an interactive factor with one of the performers leading the children by teaching them a series of dance moves from the show.

Westfield centre shoppers can jive, swing, pop, disco, breakdance and hip-hop their way through the decades with a high energy performance that’s great for both parents and kids.

Shows are 25 minutes long each day and take place in Westfield Shopping Centres at Shore City, Pakuranga, St Lukes, Glenfield, WestCity, Manukau City, Chartwell, Queensgate and Riccarton.

To find out about show times and for more information visit www.westfield.com/nzcentres.
