'Bohemian Nights' booked for Warrington encore

'Bohemian Nights' booked for Warrington encore

Australian musicians Ernie Gruner (violin) and Phil Carroll (accordion), who last performed in Warrington in January 2006, are participants in the lively multicultural scene around Melbourne, and regularly perform at festivals all over Australia, both as a duo (Bohemian Nights) and with other artists. They have a wide-ranging repertoire which includes French, Italian, Hungarian, Gypsy Swing, Jewish, Arabic and Russian music.

Bohemian Nights (formerly known as Gypsy Nights) toured NZ in 2002, 2003 and 2005, including appearances at Wellington Folk Festival and Christchurch Jazz Festival. They have gained many enthusiastic fans of their toe-tapping music and relaxed, engaging stage presence. Bohemian Nights tour New Zealand from 27 July - 12 August 2007, including Monday 6 August 7pm, Warrington Memorial Hall, Warrington and Tuesday 7 August, The Penguin Club, Oamaru.
