"With few exceptions, photographers mostly investigate other worlds, worlds outside their own. For the last 15 years or so, this has been the basis of my practice. A dispassionate on-looker. Now, with this series –My House, My Head – I am both the observer and the observed. I have turned the camera on myself, my life, to try and make sense of my world." -Harvey Benge ‘07
Harvey Benge is renowned for his evocative and mysterious images, taken in cities around the world. With a passion for the photo-book, working with publishers in Britain, France and Germany, his picture series have been published prolifically with eleven editions to date. His work has also been shown in public and dealer gallery shows across Europe including Britain, France, Holland, Germany, Poland and Italy.
My House My Head exhibition runs from the 5th–16thJune
