Fourth Largest Powerball Prize Ever Could Be Won

Fourth Largest Lotto Powerball Prize Ever Could Be Won This Saturday

With up to $13 million up for grabs on Lotto Powerball this Saturday a lucky player could pick up the fourth largest Lotto Powerball prize to date, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Todd McLeay says.

"Powerball is worth an estimated $12 million, and Lotto First Division is worth $1 million, so if a lucky player is the solitary winner of Lotto and Powerball First Division on Saturday they could potentially pick up a Lotto Powerball prize worth a life changing, dream-defining $13 million.

"As well as adding a very large sum of cash to their bank account they will also have the honour of being our fourth biggest Lotto Powerball winner of all time*.

"It has got to that point in the jackpot cycle where there is a definite Powerball buzz in the air, and water cooler conversation turns to talk of people's dreams.

"In May last year, we celebrated our biggest individual Lotto Powerball win ever. May 2007 could prove just as lucky for someone out there," says Mr McLeay.
