Writers Guild announces new Executive Director

New Zealand Writers Guild announces appointment of new Executive Director.
The NZ Writers Guild has appointed Steven Gannaway as its new Executive Director.
Guild President Frances Edmond says "We are delighted with Steven's appointment. He brings both a background in writing and considerable administrative experience in membership-based organizations."
"The Guild is in a strong position and with many new developments in the screen industry and Steven's energy and originality we look forward to an exciting future ahead."
Steven takes over the role left vacant by long-time Guild ED, Dominic Sheehan, who has left to head the Broadcasting Standards Authority.
Steven takes up the position from Monday April 2nd.
