Old enough to drink

26 March 2007

Pssst,

BATS is turning 18 and you are invited to the party!

In the time-honoured tradition of the 'Love BATS' and 'Las Vegas' parties, we bring you 'Secret Societies'. It is time for ritual, it is time to drink, it is time to party like it's 1989! Not so secret details below!

Meanwhile we still have NZ's answer to the high school musical; Sunset Cafe and the black comedy Kissing Bone. Both finish Saturday! Have a look at the review quotes below.

Congratulations to Emily who won last week's competition!

Love BATSxxx

BATS 18th Birthday Party Fundraiser!
Tue 3 April, 7pm - late
$10 door fee

In the time-honoured tradition of the 'Love BATS' and 'Las Vegas' parties, we bring you the 'Secret Societies'party.

The right honourable band The Eggs will grace us with their superlative talents, along with DJs SoulNine and Duke Fez. You are invited to join as many roving Societies as you can on the night (some gold coin fees may apply). Costumes are encouraged and you may also bring your own society to join this extraordinary engagement.

Those who expend themselves for the sake of BATS will not go unrewarded. Prizes abound for those upright members who join the most societies, have the most innovative handshakes, and who dress most appropriately.

And email us your favourite memories from the 18 years of BATS' history. Or there will be a wall of quotes in the foyer for your contributions on the night.

Should you be unable to participate, you can still show your appreciation for BATS Theatre in the form of a financial contribution to the air conditioning system. It will be received with enormous gratitude at 1 Kent Terrace, Wellington.

Special thanks to Tuatara Beer, Delegats Wine and Deluxe Café for their righteous contributions to our faction.

BATS Theatre will soon be old enough to make a will.
