Tickets for jazz festival selling fast
Kiwi icon Dave Dobbyn's new move into jazz is going down well with his fans, with his first and only New Zealand International Jazz & Blues Festival concert already a sell-out.
Irish jazz singer Mary Coughlan's concert at the Great Hall has also sold out although tickets are still available for her Gaiety Hall concert in Akaroa.
"Dave Dobbyn fans are clearly eager to see him tackle jazz and blues," says festival organiser Marianne Hargreaves.
"The response to the festival has been fantastic and these two concerts selling out is just is a reminder to anyone who wants to enjoy the great music and atmosphere that they should book now, before it's too late."
