The UK's hottest, freshest drum & bass DJ talent is undoubtedly Friction and its time to take things to the next level! DJ Friction has had a meteoric rise to become one of the top dogs in the world of drum and bass. He returns to Wellington once again with his MC of choice the mighty SP for an evening of dubplate pressure and mixing skill like you have never witnessed before. Friction raised the bar in 2006 when he amazed all in attendance with his antics on 3 turntables on ‘The Next Level’ tour. He is now set to raise it again with ‘The Next Level 2’.

DJ Friction has had an amazing 12 months, playing all the summer festivals, being commissioned for a whole host of premium remixes, and recently being one of only a handful of Drum & Bass DJ’s to be asked to provide BBC Radio 1 with a two hour Essential Mix. While all the time his Shogun Audio label has been bringing the heat and continues to expand with a string of quality releases from a diverse roster of established artists and rising stars. After the success of last years debut Next Level CD, released on Valve Recordings, DJ Friction utilizes his diverse Shogun Audio empire to once again deliver an outstanding selection of Drum & Bass music. Spanning two CDs and covering the full spectrum of the scene, The Next Level 2 features 48 of the freshest Drum & Bass tracks on the planet.
