Post Messages Of Support On NZ’s Biggest Postcard

New Zealanders can send messages of support to Emirates Team New Zealand on New Zealand’s biggest postcard for the launch of the team’s America’s Cup campaign.

The postcard is made up of 372 pieces that will be distributed throughout New Zealand PostShops as part of the ‘Let’s Bring it Home’ campaign in support of Emirates Team New Zealand.

The pieces will then be shipped to the team’s America’s Cup base in Valencia, Spain to be assembled into an 114 square metre billboard and mounted on the side of the team’s campaign headquarters.

New Zealand Post Group chief executive John Allen says it’s a privilege for New Zealand Post to be involved in this way.

“Like most New Zealanders we want to help in any way we can. We felt that by encouraging New Zealanders to express their sentiments to the team and supporting them during the challenge, we were doing our bit too. We all want the Cup back.”

Emirates Team New Zealand managing director Grant Dalton is urging people to sign the card and support the team to bring the cup home.

“We would be thrilled to have this huge billboard on the side of our base supporting us. We’d love to get as many messages of support as possible because we want New Zealanders to come on this ride with us. Not only will it be very motivating for the team, it will tell the world that New Zealand is a little country with a big heart.”

The weather resistant puzzle pieces will be available for signing in New Zealand PostShops from January 29 to February 10.

There will also be several available to sign at Emirates Team New Zealand’s Open Day to be held in the Viaduct Basin in Auckland on Monday 29 January.
