Big Wednesday Jackpots Luxury Apartment Added To Next Week's Prize Pool

Big Wednesday has jackpotted tonight, with a $750,000 luxury apartment added to the prizes on offer next week, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive, Todd McLeay, said.

"With the top prize not won this week the Big Wednesday prize pool has jackpotted to include a luxury apartment worth $750,000.

"The appeal of Big Wednesday is such that we have added an extra week of prizes to the prize pool giving players the chance to live it up in a coastal or country holiday home as well as in urban luxury in their $750,000 apartment," said Mr McLeay.

At the next draw, on 24 January 2006, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $2 million;
- Aston Martin V8 Vantage;
- Audi Q7;
- $250,000 American Express Platinum card;
- $250,000 in First Class Travel;
- Rayglass Legend 2500;
- $500,000 Bach; and
- $750,000 Luxury Apartment

While the top prize was not struck in tonight's draw, a lucky player who purchased their ticket at Orewa Video & Lotto Shop in Orewa, Auckland won $25,000 in Big Wednesday's second chance draw.

The winning serial number is 505-66221575-13XX.

"Anyone who bought their Big Wednesday ticket from Orewa Video & Lotto Shop in Orewa should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately," Mr McLeay says.

Mr McLeay also advises that all players write their name and contact details on the back of their tickets.

There were a total of 66,991 winners from tonight's draw.
