Thistle Hall Community Venue invites you to the annual $100 Art Sale. Come and have a drink with us and meet the people who are part of this special community place.

The show itself is a three hour window of opportunity, where art lovers can race into our gallery and buy anything on our walls for only $100! It’s a time to celebrate the season with the people of Thistle Hall and Cuba Street, support local artists and do your Christmas shopping.

This is the second $100 Art Sale Thistle Hall has organised, the first one in 2005 raised enough money to buy us new gallery lighting! This year we are doing a 50/50 split with the participating artists, and any money raised for Thistle Hall goes into re-instating our Arthur Street Gallery window to make the most of the new bypass.

Our $100 Art Sale is cash and carry and is only. The doors open at 6pm and there will be a mad rush to view and buy art at this crazy discount price!
So come, shop, and support your community gallery and Wellington’s self starters, the artists and organisers who make this place so special!

20 artists from around Wellington gather to bring you original and quality artwork at an affordable price.

Photography, jewellery, prints, sculpture, painting, and ceramics will all feature in this eclectic show - something for everybody!

Please note that the Thistle Hall office and gallery will be closed From December 24th until January 15th, you’ll hear from me again next year.
