Kiwi FM and the Schooner Tavern Hit the Boards
Darts. Better than a pub quiz. And more dangerous.
Next Tuesday 21st of November, Kiwi FM 102.2 Auckland, and the Schooner Tavern bring back the quintessential working man’s (and Woman's) sport of darts. Purely because they can.
So, here’s your chance to prove your sporting prowess in a game that combines the entertainment value of drinking with the ever-present risk of injury by sharp object.
To make it even more enjoyable this will be a teams event – three per team – just so you have someone else to blame if you lose. The format is pretty simple too. It will be standard knock-out elimination and we’ll be playing 301, just so you don’t feel under too much pressure to perform.
There’ll be 120 minutes of happiness with four buck tap beers from 7-9pm, meat raffles all night (that'll cover the band then) and just to cap off the evening’s entertainment the fine form of Flammable Tramp will be on stage in the lounge bar after the final match up.
- Free registration from 6 - 6.30pm
- Numbers are limited so be in first to secure your spot.
- First darts fly at 7pm
- Knockout rules apply
- Winner takes all (respect, honour, trophy and more)
