More than 2000 birds on display...
...the feathered not the bikini variety
This weekend (Friday 28th - Sunday 30th July) the Christchurch Bird Club is combining centenary celebrations with hosting the NZ Federation of Bird Clubs (Inc) National Show at the Pioneer Leisure Centre, Lyttleton St in Spreydon.
The show is open to the public from Friday 4.30pm to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 2pm.
Adults $5, Children $1 and Family passes are available for $10 (for 2 Adults and 2 children).
The team at The Mad Butcher are proud to be supporting this event along with companies like TopFlite Quality Bird and Small Animal Feed and Sylvester Motor Company.
This event is so big that The Mad Butcher, Peter Charles Leitch (QSM) is even missing the Vodafone Warriors game this weekend to be in Christchurch to support the show.
