Kia ora , Well we’re half way through NZ Music Month and truth be told we’re just about ready to drop. But we have to soldier on and bring you all the goodies. Remember that anyone buying a download during May will go in the draw to win 100 MP3’s specially chosen by Amplifier staff.
We’re also running the first ever annual Amplifier NZ Music Quiz where you can win a huge prize pack (see below) including one of the smallest MP3 players we’ve ever seen.
The debut album from The WBC can be previewed and pre-ordered now with a discount price, its due for the release on the 1st of June. Don McGlashan’s incredible new album Warm Hand has been rolling out of the office and we’re pretty excited about the new Sam Scott Flynn release The Hunt Brings Us Life. This weekend look out for gigs from Agent Alvin at Refuel in Dunedin (Sat), Bring da Ruckus at 4:20 in Auckland with a huge hip-hop line up (Sat), The Phoenix Foundation at Auckland’s The Kings Arms (Fri) and Fat Freddy’s Drop at the San Francisco Bath House in Welly (Fri, Sat).
