Battle for Supremacy - Auckland Regional Final

Published: Mon 3 Apr 2006 12:24 AM
The Auckland regional final of the Boost Mobile Battle for Supremacy took place on Saturday and saw the biggest turnout the competition had ever seen.
The R18 MC competition stirred up some controversy with MC Smoke taking out former Battle champion, Michael Pipes. The Beatbox battle was also very close with Whisper 1 finally securing the regional title.
"It is going to be a very close national final with the Christchurch talent shining the brightest in the regionals while Auckland MC's have always put up a good fight. We'll see who the best is on the day!" said event organiser, Justin Cunningham.
The National R18 final for the Boost Mobile Battle for Supremacy will take place on Saturday 29th April at 4:20 in Auckland. The Workshops and Under 18 battles are at TAPAC.
Both events are open to the public:
R18 Beatbox and MC final $15
Under 18 workshops and final $5
