“Outside My Head, Out of My Mind – Fringe ‘06”
Evolve Wellington Youth Service and Voice Arts Trust are participating in FRINGE ’06 with a raw, humorous and moving theatre piece based on the real life stories of three young people and their experiences with mental health.
The piece will be showcased at Evolve on 5 Eva Street, off Dixon Street in Wellington. Performance dates are the: 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th of February and a final show on the 3rd of March. Refreshments will be served at 6:30pm with a 7pm Curtain.
The piece was devised by 3 young people aged between 19 and 21 under the guidance of Nicola and Emily Pauling from Voice Arts Trust to help others understand and accept the modern teenager and how various issues can affect their mental health. From the 3 exclusive performances to date, there has not been a dry eye left in the house.
