Motorcycling New
Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul
Pavletich as its new Chief Executive Officer who will take
up his duties on 20 March. The President, David Appleton,
said that “whilst the process of selection had taken
considerable time and effort involving an external panel,
the Board believe the appointment is right for MNZ.”
The President went to say that with Paul’s very strong business background, his organisational and people skills together with his involvement in car and motorcycling racing and his involvement with television, this all augers well for our future. He is the right person for the job. He has unquestionable passion for motorcycling.”
Paul Pavletich was delighted with his appointment and said “he is looking forward to the challenge and believes he can bring a new perspective to MNZ with fresh ideas and is looking forward to meeting all the clubs and members in the near future.”
The President said “that with Vicky Simm continuing in her role as Operations Manager the senior team at MNZ has never been so strong. Vicky has held the fort for us during the selection process and we are very grateful to her – she is a dedicated and valuable part of MNZ.”
He went on to say that “MNZ has an extraordinary year ahead in 2006 culminating with the FIM International Six Day Enduro event in November in Taupo and that needs an extraordinary team. We have achieved this today.”
