Don’t Go To The Party…… Let The Party Come To You!
Aucklanders are being urged to stay off the roads this anniversary weekend and let the holiday celebrations come to them! With the fantastic Auckland Harbour Festival in the city of sails there is every reason to stick around and take your family and friends to the viaduct from 28th – 30th January.
It’s going to be fun for all the family with a fair ground, tall ships racing and trips out, live music and street theatre performances, Match Racing, the NZ Herald Auckland Anniversary Regatta and hot ticket performances from NZ favourites Goldenhorse and The Exponents.
Auckland Harbour Festival Director Dave Stewart said. “Why get stuck in the traffic this anniversary weekend when you could get stuck into some fun right here in Auckland? The city of sails will be alive with activities and festivities, many of which are completely free, meaning you’d have to be mad to miss out.
