his exhibited “Maori Swastikas” causes a wide spread outrage
and makes national headlines
Next we meet up with fashion Stylist, colouring book illustrator Hastings girl Kate Ruth. Kate will take us back to her home town after recently returning from New York were she styles international celebrities such as Alicia Keys and the New York band Fanny Pack.
We meet Wellington Rock Sculptor Caluchi AKA Carl Gifford who, on a 62 acre piece of land on Owhiro Bay Road, creates Boulder Sculpture. We learn of his big ideas for the land which include water-slides and giant Rock art. We take part in the dropping of rocks on cars and experience Caluchi’s dreams and ambitions.
We take a trip to London to meet the talented Tanya Marriott who makes a variety of medieval and fantasy dolls for the movies. She will give us a sneak preview of her brand new exhibition featuring erotic fairies, and lets us into her London home to talk doll making.
