Penguin colony on Trade Me

Publishers Penguin Books (NZ) are the latest organisation to join the Trade Me phenomenon. Penguin Books are celebrating the launch of Trade Me: Your Ultimate Guide by running on online charity auction with all proceeds going to the Books in Homes programme (an initiative of the Alan Duff Charitable Foundation).

Listed this week on www.trademe.co.nz are:
- A 60 second book grab in the Penguin warehouse
- $2000 advertising on George FM
- A Café at Home morning tea for 10 catered by the award-winning Julie Le Clerc
- An appearance on Studio 2 including a studio tour with Matt & Dayna
- $500 Air New Zealand travel vouchers (plus copy of the Rough Guide to New Zealand)
- A subscription to REMIX magazine plus a 10 CD collection of Remix CDs
- A signed set of Alexander McCall Smith, No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency books
- A limited edition Penguin 70s box set (70 titles)
- 5 copies of Trade Me: Your Ultimate Guide signed by all Trade Me staff
- A signed set of Eoin Colfer Artemis Fowl books
- A copy of the limited edition The Power Behind the All Blacks
- A signed copy of Stranded in Paradise plus a limited edition poster

Penguin Books (NZ) has supported the Books in Homes programme since 1999 and have sponsored Te Kura Taumata o Panguru, a school in the far North, since 2002. There are currently 435 schools on the Books in Homes with approximately 82,000 kids all receiving a minimum of five books per year.

The auction starts Wednesday 26th October and runs until the evening of Tuesday 1st November.
