The BRIGHT SEA by Vanessa Rhodes
Don¹t miss this chance to be present at the first public showing of The Bright Sea.
Elsie returns to her childhood home by the sea to be cared for by her adult daughter Helen. Meanwhile Helen¹s daughter arrives home with her fiancé. Elsie, memory failing, relives a passionate love affair from her youth, and cracks begin to show in the veneer of family life as events unravel Š
Vanessa studied theatre and creative writing at Victoria and Auckland Universities and Toi Whakaari, completing her MA in scriptwriting in 2004. Please join us at Downstage to celebrate and enjoy her achievement.
