Savage's hit single 'Swing' started the month with a bang, with 6 radio adds across Australia and the songs' video added to Rage in late July.

Dei Hamo's single 'This is my Life' picked up radio interest after being released on July 18th.

The Finn Brothers’ single 'Part of Me, Part of You' continued to generate radio adds, with the video added to Max, VH1 and Rage. In other Finn news, Split Enz were among those inducted to the ARIA Hall of Fame for 2005. "Australia became our second home in 1975. We of the Enz are proud to accept this honour, and gladly walk the Hall of Fame in memory of every gig we did here." said Tim Finn on behalf of the band.

P-Money & Scribe's 'Stop the Music' continued to make itself at home in the Australian charts, sitting comfortably at #42 on the National Airplay charts at the beginning of the month, and still at #69 at the month’s close. The song ended the month at #11 on the Top 50 Singles chart. P-Money and Scribe were the only Kiwi artists to feature on the Most Downloaded Audio Tracks and Downloaded Music Video charts for July. Scribe’s 'The Crusader' was still doing well in Oz retail, starting the month at #16 and finishing July at #32 on the Top 50 Albums chart.

Fast Crew reached #34 in the Top 50 Singles chart at the beginning of the month with 'I Got', and holding at to #42 at the month’s close.

The video for Evermore's 'Come to Nothing' is being played across most music television. Support for the single remained strong as it continued to be added to radio, reaching #71 in the National Airplay Chart. The album 'Dreams' isn’t budging from the Top 50 Album Chart, finishing July at #33.

Shihad’s 'Love is the New Hate' started off July sitting at #33 on the Top 50 Albums chart while 'All the Young Fascists' continued to be added to radio.

A 14,000 strong crowd gathered for this years' Splendour in the Grass, a two day camping and musical event in Byron Bay. The line-up featured our own P-Money, Finn Brothers, Scribe and Shihad alongside the likes of Interpol, Bloc Party and Queens of the Stone Age. The Finn Brothers were picked as a highlight of the festival by several reviewers.
