Where to find Pavement Poetry this Friday
The New Zealand Poetry Society is taking poetry to the streets with Pavement Poetry and Poetry Postcards as part of
Montana Poetry Day celebrations – Friday, July 22nd. Thousands of Wellington pedestrians will be entertained as colour
and literature pop up all around the central city in the middle of the grey winter.
The New Zealand Poetry Society has created a journey of twelve poems and poetry extracts that will be chalked on the
pavement in Wellington’s CBD this Friday. Keep an eye out for hardy poets braving the cold to hand out free Poetry
Postcards on the street between 12 to 2pm.
